Everyone needs a community, even a freedom-loving freelancer. The Workation Way catered just for that — a sense of belonging and connection with a very mindful approach, making space for clarity.

Gayathri Mudigonda, Freelance Project Manager

During The Workation Way, we explored the process of giving and receiving feedback. With feedback, we learned to uncover things about our patterns, spark curiosity about ourselves, and take in someone else’s perspective to discover things about us.

Growth and learning were two main aspects of the retreat, and with feedback, we got the chance to formulate ideas to help others grow and use appreciation to reflect on ourselves.
Not only did feedback create openness in our group, but it also provided an excellent foundation for us to brainstorm new business ideas and directions.

After the retreat, I asked the participants to share their thoughts and input on the content and execution of the retreat.
The provided feedback has been valuable in my growth process, as well as the growth journey I foresee for The Workation Way. I already got lots of new ideas on how to develop and expand the retreat. I’m now planning the next retreat and looking forward to building on our process of exploring a value-driven approach to work. We had lots of interesting discussions, new insights and ideas shared.

The Workation way reminded me of all the parts of my life, all the roles that I have and also the taking care of all of those parts. And also it reminded me of the connection between my head/mind and my body/soul, which I actually have been working with a lot earlier but now totally had forgotten. Through The Workation Way I learned how to plan a head with new goals but also the importance of reflection time on what I have actually achieved. A great way to restore power! — Anna Jadvi, Freelance Motion and Graphic Design

I want every small creative business owner to get this chance to set aside time to grow and learn in an openhearted group at a relaxing location. I’ve brought back new energy, a new direction, a slower and more deliberate pace, and an incredibly supportive, wise, and giving network. — Anders Tallvik , Freelance Art Director and Graphic Designer
