Welcome to The Working Title!

Thanks for stopping by! This is The Working Title. This is a experiment on starting conversation about Movies, Television, any pretty much anything else that falls within the realm of story telling. As the name implies, this isn’t something cemented in stone, and there will be plenty of attempts at new ways for me (and maybe a few friends) to get out the thoughts and ideas that revolve around what i love most, Storytelling. Not everything will stick, but that’s what will make this fun. I have always personally been a bit of a perfectionist, wanting t make sure everything was just the way i want it before it comes out. This will help me get over that hurdle and make a few mistakes along the way, learning all the while. Bear with me!

Storytelling has always been dear to me. I love the idea of being able to share a point of view with someone, and if done right, leaves an impact on another person. The fact that a writer, film maker, person can reach into another persons mind and and show a different world is amazing to me. We as people have the power to make make each other happy, sad, angry, afraid, a combination of all these things without even being in the same room, that is pretty wild stuff.

I have always enjoyed talking and thinking about the movies and t.v. shows that impact me most. The real mind blowing thing is that there is so much out there that its daunting to know that i will never see it all. Creating a conversation about these things allows us to share what we find and help curate what matters most to us and more over, express why.

I plan to write when ever the spark hits, and ill do my best to post them as time allows. I also plan to make videos, and maybe getting a podcast going once things are rolling. The great part of trying this on Medium is that, if anyone wants to join in this adventure, the possibility is there. For now its just me, but who knows, maybe this will grow to something. That’s why this is The Working Title. It’s in flux, it can change, will change. It might even get a new name eventually. It’s going to be fun.
