If my discovery of Flametal wasn’t elating enough, chancing upon Impureza was enormously jaw-dropping. With less emphasis on the sexy side of things, Impureza brings metal’s brutality to the forefront by showcasing pulverizing blast beats, terrifying growls and riffs, all blended to perfection with the spine-tingling melodies and wild strumming of the Spanish guitar, barrage of castanets and clapping.
Impureza is counted among my personal favorites under Spanish or Latin metal.
