Archie Andrews to Die In Comics

Archie comics has been around for a lot of years. I was never a great fan of the comic, but I do remember Archie from childhood. I remember the little graphic novels of Archie, and I also remember the cartoons. Now, suddenly I hear that the comic character Archie Andrews is suppose to get shot and die in the comics. What for? Now the publisher wants to add drama and tragedy to the comic. What is the publisher trying to do? Is he trying to teach a lesson? We see it in everyday life, and some folks never learn. Now Archie has to be crucified, and I know some Archie fans won’t like it.
