Scotland vs England/ Game review
One of the oldest fixtures in football history comes back for another European qualifying fixture. This time it was played at Hampden Park in Scotland, and even though this game was classified as a friendly it was yet again another fisty fixture.
Game recap:
As the game started there was no fluidity as both teams were testing each other, but there were a few offsides as both teams set up a high line which was effective to start with. However, in the 17th minute, good chance for Foden as Rashford came onto his right foot and pulled the pass across to Foden who then only hit it over the bar. England then started to make things happen as they played intricate passing around Scotland who then came out of position to close them down but only left holes in behind.
Then in the 32nd minute, Bellingham found Walker towards the side of the goal who fired one towards the bottom corner and as he did Foden flicked his foot and deflected it into the goal to put England 1–0 up. It was Some outstanding feet by Foden and good play by England. Then Back-to-back goals for England as Foden whipped in a wicked ball which Robertson tried to clear but could only find Bellingham who fired one into the bottom right.
