Meet William Moore The Author and CEO

William Moore’s incredible journey from homelessness to becoming a successful entrepreneur, CEO, and celebrated author is quite the story of resilience and determination. Despite facing significant challenges early in his life, he has managed to build a thriving business empire in the tech industry and publish multiple successful novels.

Born and raised in New Orleans, William discovered his passion for writing at a young age, using it as a coping mechanism growing up in a single-parent household. Although he felt like writing wasn’t the “cool” thing to do, he continued to write poetry, eventually winning several awards for his anonymous submissions. As he grew older, William leaned more towards tech and athletics, starting several companies in the tech and e-sporting industries.

However, after losing everything and working several dead-end jobs, William returned to writing, publishing his first book, Sparrows Valley, in 2006. Since then, he has released Twisted Fairy Tells: The Untold Truths and is currently finishing the third part of the trilogy series. His goal is to inspire other black writers by building a solid brand as a creative writer and becoming the person he wished he had to look up to when he started his career.

William Moore’s journey is an example of what can come of hard work and resilience. He has consulted for some of the top companies, sold out in multiple bookstores, and even made the cover of Mr. Dreamz Magazine as the first author. As a distinguished spoken word artist, he has shared the stage with Ms. America and other celebrities and is the creative force behind the popular podcast In The Woods.
