The Cubs have finally made a move and it is a big one!

Yu Darvish will be coming to the Northside on a 6 year deal that’s reportedly in the $126 million range and can reach $150 million with incentives.

The Cubs starting rotation is surely set, and we should see them round out the rest of the team now that the big piece has been signed. Cubs fans have been waiting for this move for weeks, and now it is finalized.

Darvish is 31 and four-time All-Star. He finished the 2017 season with a 3.86 ERA and 1.16 WHIP, struggling in the World Series with the Los Angeles Dodgers (though he may have been tipping pitches). Darvish made nine starts after a midseason trade to L.A. with a 3.44 ERA in 49.2 innings.

More details are sure to follow, so stay tuned to Wrigley Rapport as more news comes in.
