Blogging is a great creative outlet. It’s a fantastic way to connect with your readers. It’s also a powerful tool for working out new ideas. And it’s low stakes.
It’s fun. It’s a distraction from long projects (like books) that feel like they go on for the rest of your natural life. And blogging is easy. I promise.

If you’re a writer, of any kind, you should be blogging.
Blogging gives you the chance to publish regularly — weekly, at least. Maybe even daily. It also puts you in control of the content, something that might be a pleasant change if you’re used to relying on the subjective taste of various gatekeepers for getting your work out.
