You know how every once in a while you connect with someone and everything just clicks? That’s what it was like when I met Rachel Thompson. She’s so cool and so smart.

Rachel owns Bad Redhead Media. She’s a writer and she’s a marketer.

Her job is to teach authors how to brand themselves.

I feel like that’s a little bit like being a dentist. Most everyone with teeth hates going to the dentist, pretty much like most writers hate thinking about marketing. We just want to write our books and let our publishers or fate take care of the rest.

I don’t like going to the dentist, but I’m glad there are some people willing to do that work. And I hate marketing, but I’m glad Rachel Thompson is willing to teach me (and you) how to do it.
