I love February. It’s the neatness of the 28 days that gets me. Plus, the whole spring is on the horizon thing. We’re in the thick of winter, but on the other side of it, anyway.

I’m going to challenge you (and myself) to write everyday this month. Not just any writing. In February, we’re going to create a writer’s notebook.

A writer’s notebook is where observation and imagination meet. It’s where the everyday and the mundane take root and grow into something more. It’s where we can practice stretching our skills.

So we’ll work on things like showing emotion and describing the indescribable. Everyday this month, I’ll give you a little prompt. You get yourself a notebook and have at it.

I’ll collect all the prompts here.

If you’re not a Medium member, please consider joining with my membership link so that you can read all of these posts. It’s a great way to support me — and also all of the independent writers creating content here.
