Respect Your Readers

This should go without saying, but over the last few years on social media as a writer, I have seen some pretty ghastly goings-on from writers to readers. It always astounds me. I am not pointing the finger at anyone in particular or talking about a specific incident here, but wow. Some behaviours I have witnessed towards readers is downright shocking.
