What do good writers do every day? They write!

As a newbie writer, you must start with building a writing habit! Get started on your path to becoming an experienced writer by making writing a regular habit. A writing habit takes dedicated time and effort.

Make the commitment to dedicate time each day to journaling or free writing.

Get accountability. Share your writing goals with your friends and family, make a social media post declaring your goals and share your writing journey through any progress and challenges.

Be consistent. Write at the same time, everyday, in the same place to help trigger your brain when it’s time to sit down and write.

Mark on your calendar each day you stick to your daily writing goal.Everyday small successes add up to big feats. In no time, writing will become second nature for you.

How often do you make time to sit down and write?
