Hunted (2020) is a crazy film. A Shudder original, this reimagining of Little Red Riding Hood is directed by Vincent Paronnaud. The film stars Christian Bronchart, Lucie Debay, Arieh Worthalter, Ciaran O’Brien, Jean-Mathias Pondant, and Kevin Van Doorslaer.
Eve, played by Lucie Debay, works on a construction project in a foreign country. Eve is from France so it’s not there. One night, Eve decides to go to a bar at night and is soon hit on by an annoying dude. When the annoying dude can’t take a hint, a would-be hero, played by Arieh Worthalter comes to the rescue.
Eve and the hero hit it off and soon they’re kissing in the car. And soon enough, everything is going horribly wrong for Eve. They’re kissing in the car and the one guy’s accomplish hops into the driver’s seat. Eve figures out she’s being kidnapped. There’s a weird exchange between the two bad dudes that’s interrupted by a wild boar trying to innocently cross the road. You get what I’m putting down right? They run into the boar and crash.
Eve breaks out and starts running off into a gigantic forest. The rest of the movie is a big ole chase scene throughout the forest. There’s a point in the film where Eve has enough and turns from the hunted into the hunter and it’s…
