Three Signs That the Universe Is Telling You to Take a Break
#3. The universe flips your numbers.
If you could see the trailer for What You Have Left to Live, I bet you’d want romantic scenes, action, and a touch of humor.
But if you keep this up, the trailer for What You Have Left to Live will be like one of those European auteur movies that no one understands; nothing ever happens, and everyone cries.
I’m not telling you to rent a sailboat and sail around the Caribbean.
I’m not telling you to go for a helicopter ride over New York.
I’m not telling you to spend a week in a luxury cabin on the Orient Express.
I’m not telling you to spend a month in the Imperial Suite of the Ritz in Paris.
No.
But you could use a break.
Especially if you detect any of these three signals the universe usually sends you if you need to slow down to not explode like a supernova.
The Grace period
“Leave life alone. Let it be.” — Eckhart Tolle.
The universe wants you to enjoy the present, flow, and stop obsessing about the infinite things that could go wrong.
The universe wants you to trust, to surrender to life. To relax.
The universe wants you to stop chasing the future as if you were the coyote searching for the roadrunner.
That’s why it sends you periods of grace.
Periods that seem disturbing to you because you are used to spending the day bailing water from the leaky raft that is your life. And so much calm seems suspicious to you.
These periods of grace where everything seems to flow by magic are usually the result of the inertia of everything you have worked for.
The universe wants to clear your agenda of problems for a couple of weeks so that you can regain your strength, enjoy the fruits of your efforts, and be 100% ready for the next storm that will indeed send you :-)
