And I’m going to prove it to you.

Who is Daniel Wegner, and what did he research?

Daniel Merton Wegner was a social psychologist who worked at Harvard University, the University of Virginia, and Trinity University.

In short, he knew a thing or two about psychology.

His contributions to the field were significant.

Daniel studied the rebound effect, mental control theory, transactive memory, action identification, and the illusion of free will.

He also showed how suppression increases desire.

Today, I want to focus on the rebound effect.

What is the rebound effect?

In 1989, Daniel published a fascinating book titled “White Bears and Other Unwanted Thoughts.”

In it, he explored the rebound effect.
