I have been poorer than a rat, to the point of not having money to eat or buy shoes.

And when that happens to you, you don’t want it to happen again. And learn some things.

Among them is the habit of not wasting money when you have it because life is ups and downs.

This advice from my grandfather is my current mantra, “for every $3 you make, spend one and save two, and if you can save all three.”

  • Being thrifty is a habit.
  • Being a spendthrift is a habit.

The former will lead you to financial stability and provide you with resources to invest and continue to grow. While the second will increase your debt, distress, and discomfort.

But to change your habits, you must trust you can do it.

When you have faith, you have everything.

He who has faith believes in himself and has self-esteem: he thinks he deserves a better life.

And that is fundamental to achieving it.
