I’m Trying to Find a Way to Use Substack to Promote My Other Side Gigs
What are the benefits of having Substack newsletters
If I can use it for my other side gigs, that would be even better than the Subscription. Subscriptions are bonuses.
Here are more features I found on Substack.
I found more features to use. You can now attach pdfs to your newsletter. Currently, I have two newsletters on Substack.
I’m planning to start a third newsletter to showcase my TpT store and Amazon math workbooks. I can give snippets of free math resources and drive them to my sites.
The hidden gem with Substack is to use my newsletters to drive traffic to my other sites. The question is, what service would my newsletter provide?
- Who is my target audience?
- What benefit will readers receive from my newsletter?
- How can I use my Newsletter to help my other side gigs?
I’ve read articles from restaurant owners using Substack to promote their restaurants and food. I also read someone chronicling her day-to-day living experience. Interestingly, she had many readers and comments on her articles.
I have renewed hope with my side gigs because my TpT store and Amazon math workbooks did well.
It was disappointing pitching to editors of magazines from June through November, so I thought about it again and reasoned I should play to my strength, mathematics. Use my articles to drive traffic to my sites.
Final Thoughts
I’m starting to like Substack. It has a blog feeling with a newsletter email approach; my readers receive my articles directly in their inboxes.
