Stop strategizing
We love to feel accepted, we become too quickly addicted to claps, likes, followers and we tend to seek praise, not criticism. All this is understandable, who doesn't like to be recognized, thanked or congratulated for good actions and good work?
The devil enters...
Suddenly, the need for acceptance becomes stronger than our passion. We find ourselves doing things for the claps but not for ourselves. Recogninition becomes more important than our feeling of engaging in something intellectually challenging or any other internal motivation.
When seeking praise takes over our actions, we start strategizing, thinking too much and overplanning. The purpose becomes “how not to be wrong”, “how to get more claps”, “how to get accepted”. And then we find ourselves strategizing every single passion we want to convert into action.
Strategizing is such a difficult word to pronounce, it does not worth your time.
