Check out onions nutritional value here.

Gardening is my less expensive and less time-consuming hobby. I enjoy having fun in the garden and learning something new every time I visit or work with seeds, flowers, fruits, or plants.

The truth is, I garden for fun, and it gives me fresh vegetables and fruits from the garden.

Recently, I made Nigerian stew using fresh tomatoes from my garden. The taste was different from the one I stored in the refrigerator for months.

What can I say?

Farmers can do what they know best and people can support them make a living.

How to plan onions — Step by step

Step I

  • Get a planting pot or strong paper box from your local supermarket.
  • Buy potting soil, manure, and onions (see the photo above).
  • Prepare the pot,
  • Fill the pot with soil up third quarter,
  • Add manure and mix it well.

Step II

  • Pour out one-half of the soil and set it aside.
  • Plant onions
  • Fill the pot with the left over mixed soil.
