Did you know that McDonald’s CEO makes 19 million dollars last year? Why is he making that kind of money? The bitter truth is he has loyal customers who pay most of his salary at the cost of their ill-health.
Let’s stop fuming and protesting.
Instead, do this: Let’s decrease buying fast food.
You’re right. The convenience is an addiction and that keeps many people in drive-through fast-food restaurants— no time to cook. I don’t know how to cook. I live in a food desert. All true. And also true, that CEOs work smarter and cunningly.
My recent experience with fast food.
Auntie Anne’s pretzel is a devil. It tastes so good. I used to buy it for my young children anytime we were on vacation. As far as I can remember, we used to spend less than $20 for four people, including drinks.
Recently, I only got one Auntie Anne’s pretzel, which cost eight dollars and a change. This is significantly more than what I would have spent at a casual restaurant for a similar item.
Fast food costs more because of its CEOs’ smart lifestyle.
