Let’s Deny & Depose DEI
Be careful with what you are against — what about your disabled family member, your parents looking for a new career, or your grandparents taking college courses for free?
What is DEI? Who benefits most from DEI? Why do you think the DEI policy should be denied and deposed? Join the conversation below.
“Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are organizational frameworks which seek to promote the fair treatment and full participation of all people, particularly groups who have historically been underrepresented or subject to discrimination on the basis of identity or disability.” — Wikipedia.
Assume you or anyone you know is blind, deaf, gay, has no legs or hands, or has any disability, visible or hidden. In that case, many or most people are part of DEI in any hiring process and public accommodation.
A century ago, people with disability in the US used to be killed or kept in the basement until they were rotted and died. Now, they are among us, working and enjoying life like anyone else. Thanks to DEI we voted for and believed it was the best thing to do to move society forward.
