The Zeex Beta is Live!

As you’ve already seen (hopefully), our beta is alive and well! Our CMO, Apan Amos Damri, recently demonstrated that by buying his Starbucks with ETH in New York while participating in Consensus 2018.

Now that the Beta is working, we’re looking for testers like you in specific locations so we can get more feedback on our product. Right now, UK testers are the most needed, as many of our initial brands are UK-based, like Debenham’s, Amazon UK, Primark and Marks and Spencer. Other brands like Starbucks are global and can be tested anywhere, as you’ll see when our roadshow continues (we need lots of coffee)!

Because Zeex is a decentralized protocol gift card suppliers from around the world can join the economy and offer their stock in exchange for crypto. For instance, if there’s a supplier like Zeek that operates in the Indonesian or Mexican market, they could sell whichever gift cards they like through Zeex and open that market to crypto holders without any effort or change on the part of the retailers or brands. This is much easier for them than integrating new payment methods like Bitpay. It’s also attractive because gift cards are prepaid, so the businesses receive cash up front.

As The Zeex Protocol expands, testing will continue, and we’ll continue to work on new geographies and suppliers to open the world to crypto holders.
