Developed by Dark Crystal Games studio, Encased is an isometric turn-based role-playing game in a sci-fi post-apocalyptic setting. It was inspired by the first two Fallout instalments, Divinity: Original Sin, Baldur’s Gate, Pillars of Eternity and alike; while some members of the development team were involved in creating such games as Divinity: Original Sin 2, Age of Decadence, Life is Feudal: Forest Village and others.
If you are an old school fan of such games as Icewind Dale, Torment and Shadowrun, this game is your chance to have your sweet memories awoken. But don’t worry if you are a newcomer — since you can choose your own style of playing, the game actually appeals to all sorts of players. Thanks to 2,938 backers who in 2018 pledged €105,745 on Kickstarter crowdfunding platform and helped to bring this amazing project to life, we now have an opportunity to enjoy it on The Abyss platform.
