Tiếng Việt | 한국어 | 日本語 | 简体中文Русский

Hi, all! Please find below a regular development status report, this one covering the period from Aug 6 to Aug 19. Inside this timeframe, we were focused mainly on improving security and operational performance of The Abyss platform.

The Abyss Team activities for the period Aug 6 — Aug 19, 2018

Enhancing security

Security issues always remain at the top of the agenda. Just recently, we have enabled the 2-factor authentication (2FA) as a way of improving protection of users digital data and assets. Now, user authorization captcha has been added. Normally, captcha appears in case the number of user requests increases rapidly.

We’ve been also working on adding an option allowing to enable/disable 2FA with code obtained from an email. This task is currently in progress.

Motivational program: Step #1

In the beginning of the recent sprint the development team has been working on implementing the dedicated Airdrop portal, which may well be considered Step #1 of The Abyss Platform motivational program.

Upon finalizing the main page (including the development of moderation tools), the series of tests have been carried out to reveal the bugs. Meanwhile, we’re also working on creating and testing the mobile version of Airdrop portal.

Analytical domain and other developments

In the context of Analytical domain development, we have elaborated the analytical data requirements for:

  • Tokens deposit;
  • Tokens withdrawal;
  • User Authorization.

When implemented, this functionality (not visible to users) will allow to collect and analyze data on the activities mentioned above. This, in turn, will drive system optimization.

Among other developments we should also note:

  • Updating tokens withdrawal interface;
  • Configuring an Open Graph for The Abyss portal (to be introduced after testing);
  • Updating the referral section by adding 6-character referral code.
