Platform Development: Update 9

Hi, all! Please find below a regular development status report, this one covering the period from Aug 20 to Sept 2. Inside this timeframe, we were focused on strengthening security and operational performance of The Abyss platform, designing the dedicated Airdrop webpage and expanding the development team.
The 1000th task has been solved in recent sprint! The team has been working really hard to deliver planned result.
Security improvements (Will be available on Sep 4, 2018)
The newly developed security features include:
- Turning on/off the 2-factor authentication using the code obtained via email;
- The mandatory email confirmation for newly registered users;
- The additional code confirmation for tokens withdrawal requests.
The Abyss platform design
A few visual and security improvements have been introduced to The Abyss platform so far.
- By popular demand, we have changed the blurred background of the platform homepage;
- Animation has been added to all pages, including Homepage, Game page and Profile page;
- Minor changes to Profile page design for the better usability.
Airdrop webpage premiere
The airdrop webpage was at the core of the recent two-week sprint. Now you can learn more and track The Abyss giveaways in progress. All our airdrop campaigns are brought together on a single web-platform for your comfort. It is easy to choose any campaign, follow the instructions and get the reward.
Introducing the airdrop landing page is essential for the success of our project for several reasons. First, it is a helpful tool for implementing The Abyss exchange listing policy and supporting ABYSS token.
Second, the Airdrop is the first run of a large-scale motivational program, one of The Abyss platform key features. Participants will be rewarded with ABYSS tokens, virtual achievements and other prizes.
Additionally, there will be rewards for actions of the invited friends joining our giveaways, which is a common part of The Abyss referral program. One can start building referral network and earn more free ABYSS by sharing the referral link with ones’ network in social media.
In this sprint, we have created the basis for a new adaptive design (for desktop, mobile and tablets), which is crucial for an airdrop page adaptive view.
The Airdrop webpage is already adjusted for mobile devices, allowing for an easy and fast access from your smartphone.
The Abyss Team reinforcement
The Abyss Team is in constant search of new talents that will help to bring us closer to our key target — the creation of the best digital distribution game platform ever. Just recently, we have reinforced the development staff by hiring 6 high-end professionals.
