Save Your Nuts Multiplayer-focused Party Game is Coming to The Abyss
Today, we’re happy to announce The Abyss will be releasing Save Your Nuts, another wild and endlessly enjoyable video game developed by French-Canadian Triple Scale Games studio. So sure, this hilarious award-winning multiplayer featuring intense gameplay, interactive levels and an assortment of crazy animals will leave a lasting memory on everyone who tries it. Save Your Nuts will appear on The Abyss in Q3 2019.
Save Your Nuts is unlike anything you’ve played before. In Save Your Nuts, crafty squirrels organize a tournament to challenge other animals in a physics-based competition for up to 8 players on the same screen, online, or against the computer-driven bots. Competitors make daring plays alongside their teammates, grab food power-ups, and tackle other furry opponents to steal their nuts.
Let’s take a look at the key features:
- Couch Party mode which supports 1–8 players and challenging AI-controlled opponents.
- A wide range of characters, weapons, wild power-ups and level hazards.
- Customizable squirrels, raccoons, armadillos, dogs and other animals with fun cosmetic hats, costumes, skins and other accessories allowing to reveal your fashion sense on the battlefield.
- Strategic gameplay and creative destruction: invent new strategies on the fly and enlist your friends to unleash creative combos.
- The online multiplayer mode which allows to host a game and invite friends to join.
The game’s premise was inspired by a very common sight in Canadian cities, and you will find a lot of reference to the Canadian culture in the game (Montreal architecture, Typical park, Squirrels, Beavers, Raccoons).
Game modes
Three game modes are currently available in Save Your Nuts, including:
- Capture the Nut. Collect 5 nuts one by one in 5 minutes. Once time is up, the team with the most nuts wins the match. If the score is tied, then the game goes into overtime.
- Thieves. Steal nuts from the other team’s safehouse and fight for 5 nuts at a time. Those who enjoy hectic battles will love this mode.
- Battle. Break the nuts of the opponent team and knock out all of them to be the last one standing.

Powered by Unreal Engine 4, Save Your Nuts is an easy to play frenzy with simple and intuitive controls.
