Even though self care should be practiced daily from emotional, physical and spiritual standpoints, Sundays should be days you give yourself added grace and extra tender care for the week you’ve had. With “Self Care Picks,” we select songs from the previous week to help give you that refresh that your mind, body and soul deserve. Also included are three additional songs that accent the forms of self care needed for an additional boost to provide you with all you may require for what lies ahead in the week to come.

What I Know Now (Everything)’ — When it comes to self there is nothing wrong with wanting what you want and when you want it and that is something Cedric Brazle puts into words that make you sit still and appreciate the beauty of not just his voice but the words as well. Letting it be known that the material things don’t really want anything… Brazle wants everything else.

Worried’ — After a few years of being in the spotlight as a duo the Bailey sister, Chloe, is claiming her own and she is not worried. Showcasing that she can hold her own vocally she isn’t offended by the backlash and is stating her claims where they count, on wax for the world to hear. She’s making her legacy solid and sound.

Salvar-Nos’ — Translating to ‘Save to’ in Portuguese, Chelsea Dinorath delivers a cold and soothing song with crispy vocals putting you at ease. Wrote from the depths of her heart, Dinorath is writing a song for those with a heart looking to save it for that special love.

Too Late?’ — Waiting for you to make up your mind, Pangeaux returns with a melodic R&B song that brings out the best in listeners. Wondering why the distance has suddenly appeared, Pangeaux is closing the gap the best way he knows how with strategically structured bars to add to your captions and to layer to your daily life questions. Letting you know it is never too late, Pangeaux is showing off his progress and looks to inspire others to do the same.

Lonely Forever’ — A song for the true lovers of music and love itself, Moonga K poses the question why do we continue to return to heartbreak? Asking why love is so addicting, Moonga K sings from the side of loneliness, a part that many can relate to.
