Ruqya Supplications for Healing
A ruqya supplication is a prayer recommended by the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to ask for healing from an illness from Allah جالا جلاله. In an authentic narration (“hadith”), a Ruqya prayer is mentioned to treat a sick person:

In another authentic narration, a “Dua” by archangel Jibraeel for the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم is mentioned about seeking protection for children.

Another narration describes placing the hand at the site of pain and invoking Allah جالا جلاله as a method of treating it.

Reciting the last two chapters of the Quran (Sura Al Falaq — The Daybreak and Sura An Nas — The Mankind) are considered as a means of healing.
