Are you looking for a place around Krung Thep Maha Nakhon (Bangkok) for recreation with your family or just relaxing by yourself? Then, we absolutely recommend you go to Benjakitti Park (สวนเบญจกิติ).

Benjakitti Park (aka Benjakiti or Benchakiti Park) is located in Asoke, Downtown Bangkok, and it is a few steps away from BTS Station Asoke and MRT Station Sukhumvit. You can also enter the park via MRT Station Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. In fact, we believe it’s convenient and more accessible.

Staying healthy is really important even when on holiday, so grab your running shoes as we take you to Benjakitti Park for some outdoor activities.

Fun Fact!

Benjakitti Park in Downtown Bangkok is the best place for jogging and other outdoor activities to stay healthy during your holiday trip. You can also rent a bicycle and go boating in the park lake.

With sunrise, the first joggers come to run one or more rounds of 1.8 km around the sea. So, feel free to check them out. Sometimes, you may see some Nordic walkers and bicycles around the park using the bike track as well.

Going Around Benjakitti Park

Some parents and children could be tired of going shopping around Terminal 21. We recommend going outside and enjoying Benjakitti Park afterward for convenience and recreation. The park is nearest to many hotels like the Sheraton and others.

For instance, you can find Asoke Montri Road at the northern entrance . This is only some meters away from the BTS Station Asoke, MRT Station Sukhumvit, the Shopping Mall Terminal 21, and the office buildings Interchange and Exchange.

In addition, in the eastern part of the park, you will see a children’s playground and a public outdoor gymnastic area which is quite fascinating. There, you can find an area where you can relax in the shade under the trees at noon. Here, you can enjoy comfortable seats as an alternative to the infrastructure of your office during lunch break.

Furthermore, In the southwestern part of this area, you will find a bicycle and boat hire business and shops for drinks and snacks. Somehow, these complete the whole service offering.

Benjakitti Park is named after a Thai Princess. Most of the park is covered by a lake and the rest of it is covered in lush greenery that has a jogging and a cycling track.

Queen Sirikit Convention Hall

Meanwhile, you will see the Queen Sirikit Convention Hall in the south. It adjoins the park with the same-named Metro Station. The Queen Sirikit Convention Hall is located at the crossing of Asoke Montri and Rama IV. Diagonally, there’s a big market where you can buy fresh vegetables and meat from living animals like ducks and chickens-just a nice place to end your day.

Trivia!
