Recently Dunzo and Swiggy launched products for local businesses. Dunzo launched ‘Checkout With Dunzo’ and Swiggy launched ‘Swiggy Daily’. Both the products will help local businesses increase their sales. Local businesses can increase their reach from their immediate neighbourhood to the citywide audience.

Check Out With Dunzo is on demand business to business logistics for small businesses. It will help offline merchants to come online, as they do not have to worry about owning a fleet to deliver. The app Swiggy Daily offers users a list of tiffin food and food from home chefs. Users can subscribe to food daily, weekly or monthly from different vendors. Price of each mean ranges from INR 50 to INR 150.

At Dunzo, we’re constantly looking to improve the Merchant’s, Partner’s, and User’s experience. ‘Checkout with Dunzo’ is a considerable step in that direction — enabling faster deliveries for users, building a more efficient and democratic omnichannel business for merchants and creating more flexible earning opportunities for partners,” says Kabeer Biswas, CEO & Co-Founder, Dunzo.

There is a growing demand for quality and affordable everyday meals. With a mix of organised vendors and home chefs, Swiggy Daily will cater to this latent demand for homestyle meals that are an affordable, long-term solution for our daily food needs,” said Sriharsha Majety, CEO, Swiggy.

Dunzo is offering superpower to local businesses, which allows them to have the same infrastructure as big e-commerce players such as Amazon and Flipkart. It also saves them the commission fees, as businesses will only pay as per use. Swiggy Daily will empower home cooks, who can compete with cloud kitchen brands. Both will help the informal sectors of the economy to grow.
