Revolt’s ex-showroom price is INR 100,000. It’s top speed is 86 kmph and it can go 150 kms on a single charge. Owners can charge their bike’s battery by on-board charging or portable battery or mobile order or on demand. Customers can book the bikes on Amazon or on Revolt’s website.

While traditional players such as Bajaj, Hero and TVS are against the complete shift to electric bikes, startups such as Ather (launched), Torque Motors (about to launch) and Ultraviolette ( work in progress) are going ahead with their plans to launch electric bikes and scooters. Harley recently launched world’s first luxury electric bike. It will cost INR 21 lakhs.
