Co-working is giving affordable office space to freelancers, small businesses and big businesses work. One can rent from one seat to the entire floor. Since Wework entered the market, the market is growing fast.

What is the size of the Indian market?

JLL and Wework published a report. It says…

• Potential market size is 1.55 crore. It includes freelancers, startups, SMEs and enterprise.
• Addressable market of the six big cities (Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Pune) is 1/3rd of the total ( 60 lakh approx).
• Scope for growth is maximum in Mumbai and Delhi-NCR.

How is Delhi-NCR placed?

• Total addressable market is for 11 lakh approx.
• In Delhi-NCR maximum are in Gurgaon. The leaders are We Work, Cowork and Springboard. Springboard, Innov8, and Awfis lead in Delhi. Springboard was the first one to start in Noida. Later Innov8 followed.
