Jimmy Wales is its founder. Trung Phan called him the most successful internet entrepreneur, who is not a billionaire.
In a 2014 interview The Guardian asked, “They made quite a big deal about the fact that you were the only world famous internet entrepreneur who didn’t actually have all that much money.”
Jimmy Wales answered, “That fact is true, I’m not a billionaire. So? You aren’t either, so are not most people. It’s kind of a stupid thing to bang on about.”
