Delhi Government wants to start teaching entrepreneurship in schools, so that students build businesses instead of looking for the jobs.

Brief:

  • Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister announced that government schools would train students to become entrepreneurs.
  • It aims to train 6 lakh students between 9th to 12th standard, from 1000 schools.
  • Mr. Sisodia want students to be job creators and not job seekers.

What will be the curriculum like?

  • students above Class 9 will have a period every day where they will be encouraged and trained to opt for entrepreneurship and a conducive atmosphere
  • It will develop life skills, behavioural skills and proper etiquettes.
  • Students will also learn one foreign language. Also, they will study real life examples.
