Aethir Airdrop Has Changed!
Many things have changed since my last article about Season 2 of the Aethir Cloud Drop. The old system is now over, with a snapshot of the Discord roles taken. A new system, created by the new community moderators and the Ambassador Team, is now in place until the rest of the season, which ends in February.
What Happened?
A few days ago, we had a surprise announcement during an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session where the Aethir Team revealed that they had made the decision to replace all of the community managers who were in charge of the Aethir Discord and the organization of Season 2 of the Airdrop.
They chose active community members who demonstrated their commitment to the project to take over and create a new system for the remaining five months of the season!
They also announced that the snapshot for all roles in the first phase had been taken and that anyone with at least the “Newbie” role needs to connect their EVM wallet.
Side note: I’m now officially an Ambassador of the project. It’s a project I believe in, but it’s important to note that I’m not obligated to promote Aethir. I will maintain my critical thinking and have no restrictions on what I can say about the project.
The Tasks
The new system created by the new community managers isn’t drastically different from the previous one. It has been reworked to emphasize rewarding people who are actively engaged in the community.
To be clear :
- There are roles you can earn in the Aethir Discord server by gaining XP.
- You earn XP by chatting in every channel except the general one and also by participating in events organized by your local ambassadors and community managers.
- The major difference with the previous system is that much more XP will be awarded to participants of community events and less for chatting to prevent spam.
Additionally, a Galxe quest has been launched. I will include the link at the end of this article. A reminder: 1.5% of the total supply of 42 billion $ATH is allocated for this second season.
