Altcoin News: Amazon Customers Are Interested in Buying Cryptocurrency and Medical Marijuana

13% of Amazon’s online marketplace customers would like to buy cryptocurrency from the company. This is evidenced by survey data published by the portal Investing.com.

Among other Amazon offers that could interest them, respondents named branded computers — 73%, discount coupons — 52%, health insurance — 15%, tickets for public transport — 13% and medical marijuana — 13.5%.

They also expressed the hope that in the future the company would provide them with these services.

Researchers note that interest in cryptocurrencies and medical marijuana may be due to a fairly young consumer base of Amazon.

Recall that earlier in February, the CEO of the Bitcoin exchange Binance Changpeng Zhao expressed confidence that the Amazon online retailer would sooner or later launch its own cryptocurrency.

The company itself has not yet reported such plans, but since 2017 there have been four domains with the mention of cryptocurrencies: amazonbitcoin.com, amazonethereum.com, amazoncryptocurrency.com, and amazoncryptocurrencies.com.
