Altcoin News: Edward Snowden: US Lawsuit Against Me Is Good News for Bitcoin

Former National Security Agency employee Edward Snowden became a defendant in the lawsuit filed by the US Department of Justice after he presented the world with a personal file memoir, thereby accusing him of violating non-disclosure agreements with the NSA and the CIA.
Commenting on recent events, Snowden wrote on Twitter: “ in conclusion this is good for bitcoin”
In June, a former U.S. intelligence officer admitted that he used Bitcoin when he needed to pay for the servers that were subsequently used to organize the NSA data leak. Then Snowden said that he considers the possibility of transferring funds without outside interference as a fundamental human right, the implementation of which is largely helped by cryptocurrencies.
At the same time, he called the presence of a public registry for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin an obvious drawback and pointed to Zcash as a worthy alternative.
“Bitcoin performs an important task, and I really think that it has a long-term value, but when I look at the developers of its core and the speed with which they present updates, I understand that they should work better. Otherwise, they will not stand the competition,” he said last March.
