If you intend to study blockchain, kindly consider the following interview questions to prepare for your future plan.

1. List Your Expertise in Information Technology

In theory, there is a lot of IT knowledge you need to know. For practice, IT-related work requires employees to have some specialized skills and high creativity.

So what knowledge does the IT industry include? Specifically, you should prepare about basic computer knowledge, mathematics (algorithms, functions, logic calculation methods); coding (basic programming languages), hacking; network administration; database, information security …

2. What Do You Know About Blockchain?

For many companies, they don’t require much good blockchain knowledge candidate, but they look for a person who knows basic about blockchain.

The representative of Innity Blockchain Labs (IBL) said:

“We look for candidates who are knowledgeable about blockchain technology and have knowledge of cryptography. Applicants are also required to master one of the languages: Python, Go, and Javascript. In addition, we appreciate candidates who are able to self-study.”

In order to become a blockchain developer, candidates must first have the skills of a developer. That is, candidates must have logical thinking and programming thinking. They are necessary to master programming methods and basic concepts in programming, especially the hash function and asymmetric encryption, electronic signature.

Carlton Pringle, Stratis’s Project Lead TumbleBit & Breeze:

“When interviewing blockchain developer candidates for Stratis, we look for those who have strong software programming skills and interested in blockchain.”

3. Have You Ever Performed Any IT Projects Before?

Somebody who has experiences in many successful projects will have 95% of the skills that can be applied to the blockchain. Solving problem, coding, testing, understanding requirements, manage source code or DevOps are all skills that can be applied to the blockchain field.

Companies know that is is hard to find the developer who has experience with blockchain. Then anyone who wants to find jobs in blockchain should understand how this technology works. It is obvious that blockchain is not difficult. Unlike AI, blockchain technologies have existed for 20 years. New learners can easily find huge materials to join in it.

4. What is Salary for Blockchain Developer?

The demand for blockchain engineers has continued to skyrocket over the past years and salaries for those positions are growing in lockstep and it depends on each country, however, it lists on the top sectors with the highest salary.
