In the ever-evolving narrative of cryptocurrency, the identity of Bitcoin’s creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, remains one of the most intriguing mysteries. Recently, a new theory has emerged, suggesting that Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter (now known as X) and CEO of Block, might be the person behind the pseudonym.

The Latest Theory

The theory linking Jack Dorsey to Satoshi Nakamoto has come to light through various posts on X and articles by financial researchers.

Matthew Sigel from VanEck, a firm known for its digital asset research, has publicly stated his belief that Dorsey could be the mastermind behind Bitcoin. Sigel argues that Dorsey’s technical capabilities and his public advocacy for Bitcoin align with the profile of someone who could have conceptualized and developed the cryptocurrency.

Satoshi Nakamoto disappeared from the public eye in 2011, leaving behind the Bitcoin whitepaper and the foundational code for the cryptocurrency.

Since then, numerous individuals have been speculated as potential candidates for Satoshi, including Hal Finney, Nick Szabo, and Craig Wright, the latter of whom was decisively debunked by the courts.
