TRON 2019: Gaming Will Open the Way for TRX

Since the market is still dwindling after the strong bear correction of 2018, TRON offers the opportunity to engage with TRON in the interim recovery phase and to expand. The TRON Foundation and Justin Sun may be trying to tackle the megalith of digital entertainment.
TRON Gaming will open the way for TRX
The potential for TRON games rose in the middle of the year with the announcement that TRON founder Justin Sun had acquired BitTorrent as part of a wholesale purchase from Rainberry Inc., giving the emerging TRX main network access to the 170 million user base of the file-sharing system.
While BitTorrent is not as straightforward of a game route as the Game.com partnership, there is a significant overlap in the consumer base as the number of torrents finds a like-minded interest in decentralized cryptocurrency money. The Atlas project, which aims to further integrate BitTorrent on the TRON platform, while torrents are more incentivized to join the network, could deepen the relationship between the two platforms.
However, the announcement by TRON Arcade provides a clear indication of the direction of the TRON Foundation next year and beyond or at least some focus on cryptocurrency development and investor base. According to the press release at the time, the TRON Foundation will spend $100 million over the next three years to drive blockchain gaming innovation on the TRON platform, while providing a strong incentive for game developers to integrate TRX into their creations.
Blockchain Cuties is the first crypto-collecting game placed at TRON Arcade — TRON’s $100 million special fund.
“TRON Arcade will play a pivotal role in encouraging developers to join our mission and bring the best blockchain gaming experience to users worldwide,” said Justin Sun, founder and CEO of TRON.
“We’ve been looking for a way to partner with TRON since June 2018, and now we’re finally here,” says Vladimir Tomko, CEO of Blockchain Cuties.
The game developer believes that adding the TRON community will give users more ways to represent their cuties on the battlefield. The team also hopes that integrating blockchain cuties into the TRON platform will also increase the transaction speed, giving gameplay more options.
