Cape Fear (1991): October 27th, 2016

Director Martin Scorsese brings his signature style to the horror genre in a remake of a 60s classic that is every bit as intense, if not more so, than the original. Though the opinions of many fans may vary, there are few that disagree in that this Cape Fear remake innovates more than it steals. On the contrary, one can argue that this remake only does the genre a service by updating an already great film. The very fact that Robert De Niro plays the villain in this rendition is reason enough to check out!
