The Hills Have Eyes, directed by Alexandre Aja, is the perfect combination of suspense and pay-off. While the film settles us in slowly, patiently pacing in the set-up and the stakes, everything escalates with nightmarish fashion in the blink of an eye. If you’re looking for a solid horror that doesn’t lack in the gore or thrill department this is definitely the right fit for you.

Synopsis: A family road trip quickly goes south when they are stuck in the middle of a wasteland and preyed upon by some native mutant inhabitants.
