Don’t be deceived!
It’s still too early for spring.
The Sidekick and I are out roaming the yard this morning. The weather has been beautiful the last few days. It is getting into the 70s here in Texas. Man, you got to love that. The Sidekick is definitely an outdoor boy. If I step outside without him, he follows. Regardless of whether he has shoes on, he doesn’t care if it is raining. He is a full go for the outdoors. That boy would run across rocks and stickers barefoot and would be happy as a pig in mud. You got to love that.
As we make our way around the yard, we notice some green back into the plants. Life is on full display, and we are still in February. We have a ton of mosquito hawks looking for their prey. Now we even have flowers blooming. Yes, I said blooming here in February. What in the wide world of sports is going on? Do they not realize that this is all just Mother Nature’s trick? She likes to bring ole winter back in late March or early April on us. Just to let us know, she runs the show.
Either way, the Sidekick and I enjoy this great weather in God’s Country.
