Let’s Look at December 14

America has entered a time when major news agencies will divulge only what they want to divulge. It must fit their narrative, or they simply cannot report on it.

December 14th has a major significance because it is the day that the COVID vaccines were distributed and given for the first time to patients. COVID had dominated the airways for the last 9 months. It was the number topic of all news agencies. December 14th was also the day that my wife and I were traveling up to Kansas from Texas to see our two sons that lived up there. It was our only chance to see our oldest son as we were not going to see him for Christmas.

So, as we drive up to Kansas, somewhere at the top of Oklahoma, the wife and I switch out driving. That is the time I get to see what the internet has to tell me. You know, what the news agencies want me to know. At least once a day I do venture over to CNN, to view what they call news. Of course, they did not let my expectation down whatsoever. It was around 3 pm, and the top 5 stories that CNN thought were the most important for the day for all viewers to read about surprised me. For nowhere in the top 5 stories was a word about COVID vaccine distribution. I was completely dumbfounded, in fact I screened shot each story in disbelief.

The top story that was important for all America to drop everything to read was titled, “Congressman leaves GOP, blasts Trump and party leaders.” Now as I read this, regardless of which party switched to what, this happens in every Presidency, this to be honest on the grand scheme of things, is at best, this is a story that is in lower portion of the top 20 stories of the day. If CNN, were a paper it would be right before the classified ads. But CNN felt it was the most important, ok maybe they put COVID vaccine distribution as number two. You know a vaccine that was produced in less than a year and will get out to all of America. Not a chance.

The second top story from CNN on the day COVID-19 vaccine was released was titled, “COVID-19 now kills more than 1 American every minute. And the rate keeps accelerating.” Now that does hint on COVID-19 but is not about the vaccine instead it is showing some data to produce fear amongst its viewers. You know a technique that says, “stay tuned to us because only CNN can scare the heck out of you.”

The third most important story from CNN on December 14 thwas, “Gupta pressures Azar on White House parties: How are we supposed to reconcile this?” Really, if this were a paper it would be back in the “for sale” section of the paper. This is really, more important than the monumental feat of developing a vaccine, going through trial and error, getting it to pass the FDA, and then distributing it throughout the United States properly. Yep, deep down in my heart, I really wanted to know all about this article. An article that gave a futile attempt to paint the White House in less light instead of taking the opportunity to inform America.

The fourth most important story from CNN is “LIVE Updates: America’s electors cast their votes.” Then it has a photo of the Clintons casting. Like they have any relevance left. I do not mind the LIVE update of this due to the election just recently happened but not sure why a photo of the Clinton’s would be put on there. Do not get me wrong, Bill was the 42 ndPresident. Ok I got that. Hillary was just another person that did not become President, plain and simple. No relevance here, except she finally gets a little good feeling payback in 2020 after not getting over losing the election in 2016 to an amateur politician, for the last four years. I am waiting for her memoirs to be released in 2030 called, “I’m still not over 2016 by HRC.”

Then we have the fifth most important story from CNN, “Why the Electoral College has long been controversial?” This is a story that runs after every election. In a paper it would be a prelude to the classified section. But CNN ordained it to be the fifth most important story in America, way above the fact that the COVID vaccine was already being distributed and administered earlier this day.

Just to demonstrate that news must fit an agenda, I’ll even cover their sixth most important story of the day. This story, “even after getting a COVID vaccine, you should still wear a mask. Here’s why-and for how long?” Yep, hey you guys, we still got to make sure we show we are controlling you, so let us push an article saying that you still got to wear a mask. Got to keep the mask making business going. More importantly CNN felt the need to taint the confidence in people taking the vaccine. You know, make sure you wear that mask, you never know.

So, this is my thoughts and other thoughts may vary but I would suggest that CNN is a little lopsided in their reporting. Basically, it is more important for CNN to feed you their agenda instead of simply reporting the news. You remember when that is what news agencies did. Today our expectation is still the same, just CNN does not meet our expectation.

I am just asking the viewer of CNN, “Doesn’t America Deserve Better” reporting, just simply asking for America????????
