Legislation moving through congress this week.

I do not believe there is any relevant legislation in the senate this week HOWEVER the is an upcoming law that I believe deserves your utmost attention. The Midnight Rules Relief Act of 2017, would seek to undo every single rule Obama put into place in his last 60 days in office. A single rule repeal normally takes years. This law would seek to undo 60 rules at the same time. I personally consider this to be a gross overreach of power.

For an excellent summary on what a rule does; how they are made, and what this law would be repealing, I refer you to this Planet Money episode from NPR.
