Hey everybody. It’s been an interesting few weeks, but I guess I don’t need to tell y’all that. I was at the store the other day and I overheard a man say to his partner “I just want to get drunk, eat some cheese, and forget about my problems”. I’ve never agreed more with a statement. Well, sadly we don’t make alcohol or cheese, but what we can take your mind off of your problems for a bit. What we need now is some comics!

Story by Dustin Nelson | Art by Summer Steinhart | Letters by Kevin D Lintz
Story by Carmen White | Art by Eric Carman
Written by Jesse Galena | Art by Luna Grey | Letters by Kevin D Lintz
Written by Phillip Butehorn | Art and Letters by Dave Hingley

Dustin Luke Nelson is a writer based out of the Midwest that writes and edits for Thrillist. His musical taste is impeccable and he can pick you out a good beer. You can find links to his writing here:

Summer Steinhart is a writer/artist living in Florida. She lives with her pet pig that occasionally eats her artwork, but she loves her anyway.

Eric Carman gets shit done. Ask anyone around that doesn’t have an Eric Carman in their life. Are they getting shit done? No. Not at all. Get yourself an Eric Carman. The world will be better off for it.

Carmen White is a wife, mother, and writer. She spent her teenage years making fun of comics and their inability. to keep anyone truly dead. But in college she fell in love with a nerd and now she can not only out trivia him, but has written and published her own comic stories.

Jesse Galena is a writer living outside of Washington DC. In his spare time he enjoys playing tabletop games, spending quality time with his partner, and communing with the dead via broken antique radios. You can find up to date information about his current projects via his website here:

Kevin D. Lintz is a comic book letterer and writer. He learned his skills in a Comics Experience class and honed them on the mean streets of his all-ages comic book, Team SLUG. He has lettered several stories for Comics Experience alumni stories and anthologies. He frequently startles his family by making sound effect noises out loud to try and translate them into written words. He has even watched “Helvetica”, the full-length feature movie about the font Helvetica

Luna Grey is an artist and storyteller (and researcher) living in New Zealand. Her day job is even cooler than making comics, and that’s saying a lot coming from me.

Phillip Butehorn is a father, husband, and a writer. The dream of being a writer started in 2011. He was a waiter and slowly losing his soul, but writing helped. Beginning in 2011, he co-wrote a comic titled, 617, and a short, The Mad Monk, with art by Jason Copland. It’s taken him eight years to get to this point. He started this journey as a kid in his twenties trying to survive the recession and and now I am a husband and a father. The one message he has for everyone here: don’t give up on your dreams ever. Work hard leads to accomplishments. Accomplishments lead to dreams coming true.

Dave Hingley is an artist/creator/game designer living in England. He pulls dreams out of his head and displays them to the delight of everyone who views them. Let’s just pray he never has a nightmare…

That’s it y’all! Thanks for coming back to see more jam comics. We are going to be posting more jams soon! Until then, stay Jammy y’all!
