Road Trip
or, I Started Rolling Down That Lost Highway
I had driven for days, stopping only for fuel. It was on my trail. It was on my trail and it wouldn’t stop until it devoured me. I left a trail of snicker bar wrappers and pissed in Gatorade jugs behind me as I inched my way across the map. The sun was my enemy now, and I would long daily for the cool kiss of the moonlight on the highway as my face peeled in the afternoon blaze. Still, I persisted. I couldn’t stop, for I was the keeper now. The keeper of Fresh Comics, and I still hadn’t written my intro!
Hello everyone! Welcome to our newest installment of Fresh Comics. It’s great to have you back again this week. We seriously have a great selection of comics this week. I know I say that every week, but seriously…cheese and crackers these are some great comics!
Today’s comics, if you haven’t guessed, are all about the most American of activities: Road Trips (and this isn’t like the time that I said we were talking about the most American of foods: spaghetti; or the time that I said that Leonardo da Vinci was probably a redneck because his inventions looked like something my drunk uncle would slap together after a case of Keystone light. I can totally back up this claim with long boring arguments, but we have comics to get to. Just roll with it). We have some new faces getting their work seen for the first time, and we have two examples of my favorite artists on The Jam collaborating on seriously rad comics. I hope you folks enjoy!
Well folks, that’s it for this week. I hope you enjoyed. Remember, if you enjoy what we do and want to contact us, we are reachable on all major social media services. Look us up. We’re pretty fun, I guess. Additionally, if you want to participate in creating comics with The Jam, hit us up on social media. We love getting to know creators in our community. Finally, no matter what lost highway you wander down, stay Jammy.
