Our one-page comics explore stories of celestial wonder, cosmic power, and otherworldly destinies. From children born under mysterious stars to beings who bridge the gap between humanity and the universe, these tales shine with imagination and awe. Whether it’s a hero discovering their starbound origins, a mystical connection to the galaxy, or an exploration of the bonds between the heavens and the earth, each story captures the magic of looking up at the night sky and dreaming big. Prepare for a journey that’s as infinite as the stars themselves, because ‘Starchild’ illuminates the extraordinary in all of us.

Casey T. Allen is a writer living in Central Alabama. A working stiff by day, at night (after the kids are in bed) he transforms into a writer of comics, contributor to Spoiler Country Podcast and the editor of The Comic Jam. He’s edited the Eynes Anthology Book One, and is the writer/co-creator of the ongoing horror comic Voodoo Chile. Follow Casey on social media, or don’t. He’s kind of a jerk. Find his work at https://gumroad.com/l/VChile1 or https://www.bigfootknowskarate.com/

Quinn Butler is an illustrator and college student originally from Portland, Oregon, and mainly works digitally or paints with acrylics. They enjoy character design, concept art, comics, and getting way too into whatever has captured their attention for the month. Check out their work at https://www.instagram.com/umbrellainkart/

Jack Van Thomme illustrates comics and pitches in when he can. You can see the things he likes to draw and read the things he likes to talk about on Twitter and Instagram @Real_JackVT https://www.instagram.com/real_jackvt/

Jonathan Chiotis is a writer of short stories and poems. He authored St. Anthony’s Fire in 2007 but since then has followed his passion for creating comic books. Doing the art, writing, and lettering for several mini comics with inept ability. Currently working on character creation with a focus on ultraviolent action, cinematic dialog, and the supernatural. He attended two semesters of art school, evidence which is undetectable in any of his works.

Tom Lynott lives in Arizona with his adorable wife, two boys and a Border Collie / Cattle Dog mutt named Dani. He took part in Comics Experience’s Introduction to Lettering Comics class in May 2021. You can see more of his work at https://tomlynottcomiclettering.myportfolio.com/. He has also been known to script a story or two.

Christian De Matteo is a writer and college professor, founder of Tellworthy.com and co-founder of FugitivePoems.com with artist-extraordinaire James Lines. He loves all forms of art and entertainment, enjoys long walks on the beach and other less sandy locations, and is fatally allergic to fluffy cats (in case you wanted to get rid of him). He can be found pontificating/dad-joking on Twitter: @CDMetc and @FugitivePoems. He cannot draw. Like at all.
