How We Surpassed 3K Subscribers in One Month — and What's Next?
"Aim for 1,000 subscribers," they said. We did — and we ended up surpassing 3,000. Here's how it happened, what I learned, and the road ahead for The Core.

When I started The Core, I had a simple vision: a newsletter that felt like an honest conversation between two friends — offering insights, stories, and resources people could use. My initial, somewhat audacious year-end goal was to reach 1,000 subscribers. It was the number in my head, but I wasn't sure if we'd get there.
The Surprise Surge
Well, we blew past the 1,000 mark. Our subscriber count tripled in a single month, reaching over 3,000. Every edition of The Core gets more than 1,000 reads within ten minutes, which still amazes me! This surge was exciting, validating, and a little nerve-wracking. Keep delivering meaningful content that feels heavier—in the best way.
