A little princess was turning 8 years old and her parents wanted to celebrate it in the most unique and fun way possible. They wanted the kids to have fun but also wanted the adults to have an equally memorable time together. What better place than The Culinary Lounge to make this vision come true?

It was a beautiful morning in Hyderabad with the sun shining bright and the green environs of Jubilee Hills could not be more lush. Birds chirping and serene calmness of nature all around. This was only broken by excited shrieks of children. They loved the garden to run, play and behave uninhibitedly. It was so much fun to see all these happy and excited faces around us.

The kids just couldn’t wait to start cooking. They were going to bake pizzas, make cupcakes and whip up some oreo milkshakes. Chef Sangeeta, in-house chef, The Culinary Lounge and her team were more than ready to get the cooking party started. With the kids getting on with their cooking, the adults settled into the lounge and garden to put their feet up and mingle with each other. A variety of starters and beverages were being passed around during this time. Some parents could hardly contain themselves and joined the kids during the cook-off in decorating some cupcakes. The kids whipped up some delicious oreo milkshakes and finished them in a heartbeat. The cupcakes were also gone just as soon they got decorated. The pizzas were soon ready and while the kids chomped on their pizzas and scrumptious lunch was being set up in the lounge area.

The lunch menu for Saanvi’s birthday was a lavish traditional spread. A three-course spread included some of the classic traditional dishes; Chitti Garelu, Chitti Royyala Iguru, Chepala Pulusu, Gutti Vankaya amongst other delicacies. It was indeed heartening to see our guests relish the food. The kids rushed through their lunch as they just couldn’t wait to get back into the garden and start playing again. Their disappointment was palpable when their parents announced it was time to go home. The kids were not yet ready to end the party but then, all good things must come to an end as well, right?
